Abby's Acre

Welcome to Abby's Acre! We're a disabled veteran led 501c3 that focuses on food and farming to foster community and environment. Through regenerative agriculture, we produce nutrient-rich food, fight food deserts, support local food security, and help foster a community that supports and feeds each other.

Our Mission
At Abby's Acre we advocate for our veteran neighbors to get involved in their communities through volunteer work, farming and gardening, and cooking- recognizing its power to create change and foster healing. Our volunteers—many of them veterans—help address food insecurity and environmental challenges by implementing regenerative agriculture in underserved areas. These efforts not only support sustainable food systems, but also offer a meaningful and therapeutic outlet for those dealing with PTSD. By promoting service and collaboration we strengthen community bonds, support mental health, and build a more resilient, connected neighborhood committed to positive change.

How We are Making a Difference
We Teach
At Abby's Acre, we teach sustainable practices rooted in regenerative agriculture. Through our educational programs, we highlight the connection between soil health, biodiversity, and food systems, while also offering hands-on learning for the broader community.
We Serve
We aim to provide a therapeutic outlet for veterans dealing with PTSD while also providing guidance on veteran benefits- namely post 9/11 GI bill and disability claims. Abby's wants to ensure that those who have served our country can access the support they deserve.
We Grow
At the heart of the Abby's Acre "We Grow" mission is a commitment to cultivating more than just crops—we’re growing a resilient, interconnected community.
We Build
Together, we are building a future rooted in the principles of regeneration—where physical, mental, and community well-being grow side by side.

Get in Touch
We encourage those along for the ride to get dirty by embracing regenerative practices to help foster a future where the land thrives, communities flourish, and veterans find purpose beyond their service.
